Welcome to Mourne Golf Club Open Week 2023 which takes place from May 8-12, 2023 with Open competitions on both the Championship Links and Annesley Links at Royal County Down.

All competitions are co-ordinated through Mourne Golf Club and any queries should be directed to Mourne using the contact details below rather than Royal County Down.

We are delighted to announce Open Week bookings can now be made online using the link buttons on this page, which will take you to the booking page. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Please also note that a valid Golf Ireland Membership number is required (CDH Number) when booking and the Golf Ireland Membership Card must be shown on arrival to Mourne Golf Club.  Non Golf Ireland members will not be permitted to play in Open Week Competitions.

Mourne Golf Club Open Week is extremely popular and bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis. We have designated tee times for each Open competition and when timesheets are full, we cannot take any further bookings.

Please note: Open Week timesheets open for online bookings for Mourne Golf Club members on Monday March 13, 2023 (00:00) and for visitors on Monday March 27, 2023 (00:00).

Dress Code: Clubhouse


Dress code in the clubhouse is smart casual, including golf attire. We would ask that golf shoes are taken off in the locker room and regular footwear is worn. Sports tops are not allowed in the clubhouse.


On the course

Members, guest and visitors must wear suitable and appropriate golf attire. Blue denim and collarless t-shirts are not allowed. Tailored golf shorts can be worn, but not cargo shorts, beach short or short with numerous pockets. Members must take responsibility and make sure their guests are aware of the dress code policy in the clubhouse and on the golf courses.  

Etiquette: Mobile Phones


Mobile phones should be put on silent when in the clubhouse and on the golf course. Please be respectful of others if using your phone.

Smoking

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted within the clubhouse. (Note: there is a designated smoking area outside).
