Welcome to Mourne Golf Club

Founded in 1946, Mourne Golf Club is one of three clubs in Newcastle and is part of the world-famous golfing campus at Royal County Down. Mourne Golf Club play their competitions on the Championship Links at Royal County Down, while members can also play the Annesley Links course at Royal County Down.

The clubhouse has a fascinating history and is ideally situated a stone’s throw away from Murlough beach and just metres from the first tee at Royal County Down. We look forward to welcoming you at Mourne Golf Club.

From Nissen huts used by the Civil Defence Authority during World War II, to today’s modern, granite and brick structure, the Mourne clubhouse has come a long way.

A perfect venue to celebrate any occasion. Consider Mourne and the dedicated Founders’ Suite for weddings, events and family occasions. Members and visitors welcome.
