Annesley Links (Royal County Down)

The Annesley Links may be somewhat overshadowed by its more illustrious neighbour, but don’t let that deter you. The Annesley Links is carved out of the same magical duneland as the Championship Links with holes from both courses running alongside each other in places.

Although a shorter course than the Championship Links with a par-65 (for men) the Annesley Links still commands huge respect. Danger lurks at every turn with narrow fairways and small greens placing a premium on accuracy all the way to the hole.

Like the Championship Links, panoramic views are everywhere, especially looking back towards the mountains from the eighth tee or from the 10th green. The Annesley Links is the perfect golfing partner to the Championship Links at Royal County Down.

A day on the links never to be forgotten

Royal County Down is located in one of the world’s most naturally beautiful links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Mountains of Mourne, the links stretches along the shores of Dundrum Bay, zigzagging back and forth to provide a different vista from virtually every hole.
